About Us

The Izon Ebi Association is a non-profit (501 (c)(3) organization of Izon sons and daughters by birth or marriage and their families who reside in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas and other neighboring states.

Mission

The mission of the Izon Ebi Association is to foster unity and effective/respectful communication among its members and Izon people in general, engender cultural pride and enhance economic growth and educational progress of the Izon people in the US and Nigeria.

Objectives

The objectives of the Association are:

(a) Promote mutual understanding and fellowship among its members.

(b) Render economic and moral support to Izon indigenes and others in need.

(c) Support and promote the educational, social, economic, and cultural interests of the members.

(d) Support cultural and social projects in the Izon Communities in Nigeria and the United States of America.

(e) Support the advancement of the education of the Izon people.

(f) Educate members on American history, government and culture and educate Americans on Izon history and culture.
